The crash happened at the intersection of Spruce Street and 2nd Street on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 6, according to unconfirmed reports. Four people were reportedly hurt.

The intersection where the crash occurred is spitting distance from the Excel Academy. Several residents, including one mother, in a Chelsea Facebook group said the intersection is unsafe.

"My kids go to Excel school and that intersection gives me anxiety every morning," she wrote. "It should be a SCHOOL ZONE and they need 'no turn on red during school hours' sign. Every morning the crossing guard yells at cars for turning when our kids are trying to cross. It’s horrible."

All four people were taken to Mass General Hospital for treatment, unconfirmed reports said. No other information was officially released.
